Other Services
Please contact our office to schedule any of the services listed
below, or if you have any questions about these or any other chiropractic
services.
Massage therapy (MM 16321) - Massage therapy is
an excellent adjunctive therapy to chiropractic care. The pain cycle
starts when injury, chronic poor posture or emotional stress causes
pain. The body moves differently, causing muscles and other soft
tissues to adapt. Massage helps break the pain cycle by physically
stretching and relaxing spasm (muscles shortened from injury or
long term inactivity) and trigger points (the swollen, tender areas
that may refer pain to other parts of the body).
Our licensed massage therapists are trained in deep tissue massage therapy to facilitate your chiropractic adjustment. Our experience has shown that the combination of massage therapy and chiropractic can be very beneficial in achieving the results that you desire.
Custom made orthotics - Spinal Pelvic Stabilizer
Orthotics are a prescribed style of flexible, custom-made foot orthotics
which are worn in shoes. Orthotics help your feet maintain their
structural and functional balance as you stand, walk, or run. Your
feet are the foundation of your body, and they serve you in three
important ways: they support your body whenever you stand, walk,
or run; they assist you in moving from one place to another; and
they help protect your spine, bones, and soft tissues from damaging
shock stress as you move. Any weakness or unstable positioning in
your feet can contribute to postural problems in the rest of your
body. SPS Orthotics help to keep your feet in a stable position
throughout the day.
Rehabilitation services - Individualized spinal
and extremity rehabilitation to enable faster healing time and longer
lasting results for many soft tissue injuries, such as sports injuries
and motor vehicle/whiplash injuries.
DOT exams - Certified and specifically trained
to administer DOT physical examinations in accordance with federal
guidelines.
Pre-participation school physicals - Physical
evaluations performed as required by the Florida High School Athletic
Association (FHSAA) prior to participation in interscholastic sports
activities.
